Ignis Divine

“Ignis Divine” is a piece originally written for, and premiered by, the University of Mary Concert Choir. It uses texts from multiple Christian sources, including scriptures and an ancient hymn. It is written in an SATB format, but each voice part does contain divisi portions.

Flippantry

Written for the University of Mary Steel Band, “Flippantry” is very light and energetic. I have been told, however, that it does not lay well over the pan, making it rather difficult.

Powerful Happenings

Originally written for a friend of mine, “Happenings” is very intense and tries to live up to its name. While it was intended for C trumpet, it would be no problem to include a Bb part as well.
